So much of Static-Loud has been made as an island; a locked room that I decorate for myself. What was once a work portfolio is gracefully decaying into a nest constructed out of art and code, and that scares me a bit. It would be far easier to walk away, and let it be a museum dedicated to someone that I don't know anymore. At the end of the day though it's not an island, but a home. A home that doesn't really have a lock on the front door, so people are free to come on in and check it out. Someday I want it to be a representation of who I am, but until then being a part of a community helps make it possible for me to chip away at this corner of the internet.
I chose my name off of a 7-11 keychain. It was late at night and felt right.
